Adam White did not become an author/ illustrator by any conventional means. It was only after incarceration for bank robbery due to addiction that he found his calling. His graphic novel series "Back To Blue" is a farcical account of his experiences, journey to self discovery, recovery, redemption, and politics he witnessed while incarcerated. Back to Blue is an ongoing series that has connected readers in its authenticity and honesty. He pulls no punches in admitting his own shortcomings, nor in his efforts to expose the corruption and complete incompetence of our prison system. Released from prison in May, 2023 Adam continues his work in criminal justice reform, and social justice activism. In working with local business leaders, producers, and artists in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio Adam White has impacted countless lives for the better. His message of hope against adversity, creating awareness in the minds of the seemingly unaffected, and challenging the stigma of addiction and incarceration continues to gain momentum and attention throughout all demographics in society.
